new years

so, yesterday I worked from 1 to 5:30, then headed over to my friend Austin's place where I attempted to help set up for the party he was going to be hosting, but I soon realized that everything that needed to be done involved having to be really tall - which i am not, - so I left and went home to get ready instead.

After showering, spending an hour trying to figure out what to wear, and applying my war paint, I left for my coworker Devon's house. Upon my arrival, we took shots of vodka, and watched hockey on tv. His friend Daniela arrived shortly thereafter and we ended up moving our party to the dining room to play a round of "What's Yours Like,?" which was actually extremely amusing. Jaggerbombs were passed around during the game, and by 11, Devon and Daniela were both passed out, and I got a ride to Austin's place.

I get to Austin's, and long story short, I drank more! This included taking my very first shot of tequila, lime and salt and all, with his mom Gracie. :p
I took a cab home at 2, and then hung out with my extremely sober Japanese exchange student, Azuki, and her friend Ki. They were on skype with a girl named Miwa, who was from Japan, so I took the opportunity to practice my Japanese on them. It was a fantastic end to the night :)
